Pet Policy

 

Admiral Hotel is a dog friendly hotel that accepts dogs less than 40 kg/88 lbs, to a maximum of two dogs per room at 40 kg/88 lbs together.

A charge of 75 HRK per night per dog applies and will be added to your guestroom folio. Extra cleaning upon check-out is included in the price. Service dogs are always welcome at no charge.

The price for dog lodging is inclusive of a welcome package that will be presented upon arrival featuring special pet amenities including: pet bed (available in medium and large sizes), food and water bowls with mat, treats, door hanger and information about local pet shops, pet parlours and veterinary care. The dog bed, bowls and mat are only provided for the duration of stay and belong to the Hotel.

The Hotel needs to be informed about dog lodging at booking i.e. at least three days in advance of your arrival.

It is required to bring the dog's immunization certification.

For the comfort of all of our guests, but with the exception of service dogs, dogs are not permitted in the Food & Beverage areas of the Hotel, as well as in the Meeting Point, Relax Zone, Gym area and Grand Casino.

While travelling through the lobby or public areas of the Hotel, dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier.

Dogs may remain alone in a guestroom so long as the dog is well-behaved. You will need to notify the Front Desk and hang the “Do not disturb, my dog is resting” door hanger when you leave your pet unattended in your room. However, if your dog is disturbing other guests/Hotel personnel or causing damage, then it cannot be left alone and must remain in your control.

The owner needs to be present while any member of the personnel such as Housekeeping, Room Service or Maintenance is present in the room. Room cleaning must be scheduled for a time when the dog is not in the room or the owner is present.

Pet owners will be responsible for their canine companions and for any personal injury or property damage they may cause and will be required to sign a Pet Waiver upon check- in.

 

If your room requires excessive cleaning, or if damages are incurred as a result of your dog’s actions, the Hotel may charge for additional services and repairs.

It is the owner’s responsibility to prevent your dog from creating any disturbances which may cause complaints by other Hotel guests or personnel. If your dog is deemed disruptive, the Hotel Management has the right to require you to find other accommodations without reimbursement. If your dog is deemed dangerous, harmful or is likely to frighten or harm other guests of the Hotel, the Hotel Management has the sole discretion to exclude your dog from the Hotel.

In consideration for other guests, please remove and dispose of any litter or waste associated with your dog on Hotel premises.
